This is a Vietnamese style sandwich, my family (mainly my father) buys a whole bunch of them every once in a while. By a whole bunch I mean like, twelve all at once and they take up a lot of space in the fridge. And while they taste good, I personally don't like them all too much but I eat one or two to try and make space for other things. As you can see it contains pickled white radishes and carrots along with parsley and some cold cuts. There's like this...mayonnaise or spread on the inside, I don't really like it since it reminds me of lard or something D:
It's also spread with liverwurst (I think) on the inside as well. The bread is what gets me though, if it isn't fresh the whole thing gets soggy and if you heat it up the bread gets hard and it cuts the inside of my mouth. So troublesome to eat...
All in all, I don't like these sandwiches. I call them the 'fishing sandwiches' because the only time we ever buy them in bulk is when my dad goes of a charter or fishing trip with clients or family or friends and he just buys a bag of them. Most of the time they don't eat them all and they just sit in the fridge until we toss them or my mom forces me and my brother to finish them. >(I took a few bites from this one, yes, it looks unappetizing.
I've been slacking with these blog posts but I always forget or find myself being too lazy to upload the photos from my camera :T
